Schweitzer Leads Eagles at Hershey
Hershey, Pa.- The Eagles teed off on their third competition round in as many days today at Hershey Country Club at the Elizabethtown College Fall Invitational. The Eagles shot 413 to take solo fourth today, playing from 4,894 yards on a hilly track.
Molly Schweitzer played a solid round for the Eagles today, shooting a 94. Schweitzer turned in an impressive 46 on the front nine, securing a solo 11th-place finish. Jazmine Boland found her bearings today, making a birdie on the sixth hole to shoot 103. Boland, in her first year, secured a solo 17th-place finish, putting her towards the top half of the field. Madeline Bainey has been a picture of consistency this fall for the Eagles, shooting 104 while snagging a challenging par on the sixth hole. Bainey finished in a solo 18th today after three straight days of play. Kylee Marshall bagged herself a 112 today on a challenging track. Marshall made two pars before securing a 23rd-place finish. Izzy Slagle made her "A" team debut, shooting 115. Slagle finished with a 56 on the challenging back nine full of tough holes to finish in 24th.
The Eagles play next after a short in-season intermission on September 27th and 28th at the Cardinal Classic at Black Rock Golf Club.
