Eagles Fly High Day One at Landmarks
Delaware, Pa.- Juniata Women's golf continued their season at the Landmark Conference Preview this weekend at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The team struggled to finish all 18 holes as darkness drew near; however, they will need to finish up the rest of their round tomorrow due to darkness.
Jazmine Boland led the way for the Eagles, shooting 22 over after notching five pars in her first 15 holes. Boland finished day one in 18th place after a strong start. Molly Schweitzer pieced together a decent round on a challenging track, shooting 101 with one hole to play. Schweitzer battled hard on a course with some tough carries to finish day one in BLANK position. Emily Kemmer improved as she found three pars and a birdie through her first 14 holes during her Landmark Conference debut. Kemmer shot 23 over through before going out tomorrow to finish day one. Madeline Bainey battled the elements today, shooting 97 with two to play. Bainey secured a 51 front to finish tomorrow. Kylee Marshall rounded out the scoring for the Eagles, shooting 18 over through ten holes.
The Eagles will finish the remaining holes in their first round tomorrow before playing their last 18 of the fall.
