Women's Golf Continues the Spring at The Cardinal Classic
Hagerstown, Md. - The Eagles traveled to Hagerstown to continue their season at the Catholic Cardinal Classic hosted at Black Rock Golf Club. The Eagles finished in 5th place, playing the course at 5,550 yards.
Madeline Bainey led the Eagles this weekend, breaking 100 both days, even in the wind. She recorded a 99-96 split to finish in 26th position. Molly Schweitzer challenged Bainey for the one spot for the weekend, finishing in 27th place. Schweitzer shot 94 on day one at Black Rock, finishing with a 103 on day two. Lily Stewart finished in 30th place in the tournament overall. Stewart secured a 100 both days as she finished day one with a birdie. Kylee Marshall had the best round of the weekend for the Eagles, shooting 92 on Saturday. On day two in Hagerstown, Marshall was able to hone in on a 31st-place finish. Izzy Slagle played as an individual for the Eagles, shooting 114 on day one and 120 on day two.
The Eagles will now take a short hiatus from their season as they prepare for the Landmark Conference Championships on April 25th and 26th.
