New assistant women’s soccer coach joins Juniata College

HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Michael Zauzig, a native of Huntingdon, Pa. has joined Head Coach Scott McKenzie's staff in coaching the women's soccer team at Juniata College.

Zauzig has not strayed far from Juniata, since graduation in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in science and education.  That same year, he began assisting McKenzie in individual player development as well as training goalkeepers.  His previous coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach at Huntingdon Area High School Soccer, as well as the Huntingdon Soccer Club, and numerous youth organizations.  His professional experience includes but is not limited to substitute teaching in the Huntingdon Area School District as well as the Juniata Valley School District.  Zauzig will begin his new duties with Juniata soccer immediately.
