Eddinger, Snyder, and Young named to Women’s Soccer All-Landmark Conference squad
HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College women’s soccer senior forward Erin Eddinger (Barto, Pa./Boyertown), senior defender Katie Young (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) and freshman midfielder Alicia Snyder (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) were named to the 2010 Second Team All-Landmark Conference team, which was announced Friday morning.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College women's soccer senior forward Erin Eddinger (Barto, Pa./Boyertown), senior defender Katie Young (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) and freshman midfielder Alicia Snyder (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) were named to the 2010 Second Team All-Landmark Conference team, which was announced Friday morning.
Eddinger finished seventh in the league this season for points with 15. She equally tallied five goals and five assists. In the regular season she was tied for eighth for goals, and placed second for assists. Her overtime goal versus Susquehanna clinched the Eagles a spot in the Semifinals of the Landmark Conference Tournament.
Young has been a constant defensive force at outside back this season, after three years of playing forward for the Juniata Eagles. She was named captain this season.
Snyder started her collegiate career with an outstanding effort in the midfield. She finished the regular season with five goals, two assists and twelve points. She scored the lone goal for the Eagles in their Semifinals match-up versus Drew University on Wednesday.
The Eagles finished their 2010 season with a 9-8-1 overall mark, 3-3-0 in the Landmark Conference.
