HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's soccer team lost 8-1 to visiting SUNY Brockport, Saturday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium.
The Golden Eagles scored three goals in the first half as they outshot Juniata 12-5 to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.
SUNY Brockport tallied another four minutes into the game as they continued to control the run of play.
Emma Moreland (Lebanon, Pa. / Cedar Crest) converted a penalty for the Eagles in the 51st minute, but JC couldn't get another and the Golden Eagles kept scoring.
The visitors tallied goals in the 57th, 63rd, 70th and 86th minute to complete the 8-1 scoreline.
Juniata will return to action will host St. Vincent, Tuesday at 4:00.
