Altoona, Pa.- The Juniata women's soccer team picked up their second win in as many days as they won 1-0 at Penn State Altoona, Sunday afternoon Spring Run Stadium.
Giavana Pacheco scored the game's only goal. Emma Stiller made three saves in goal for the Eagles.
The Lions threatened in the first half as they outshot Juniata 5-3, but all of Juniata's three shots were on frame as they forced the host's keeper into three saves.
In the 62nd minute, Pacheco sent ball in from a corner from the right side. The ball beat the keeper to the near post and bounced in.
The teams finished the game even on shots, 9-9, with Junaita holding an 8-2 advantage on shots.
The Eagles return to action Wednesday at Notre Dame of Maryland.
