Eagles Earn Multiple Event Wins in Tri-Meet at Ursinus
Collegeville, Pa. – The Juniata women's swimming team continued its strong early-season form Saturday, collecting several top-three finishes in a tri-meet against Ursinus and McDaniel. The Eagles secured second place overall behind host school Ursinus.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Megan Mikell, Delany Wetzel, Eleanor Smith, and Coltan Swarts captured the event in 3:56.26, closing the meet with a decisive win.

Smith also finished third in the 200 butterfly (2:25.52) and added a third-place showing in the 400 IM (4:59.51).

Wetzel led the distance corps with a third-place finish in the 500 freestyle (5:48.57), followed closely by Lakelynn Godfrey (5:52.86) and Ellie Parton (6:04.77).

In sprint action, Mikell took second in the 50 free (25.90), while Godfrey placed third (26.65).

Dani Cline added runner-up efforts in both the 100 IM (1:07.89) and 100 freestyle (58.40), while Abby Ortiz and Maegan Jordan earned additional top-five finishes in backstroke and breaststroke events.
The Eagles host Moravian and Chatham next Saturday, November 15th, at the 2025 Senior Day.
