Juniata Women’s Swimming Moves Into Fifth After Friday Finals
Baltimore, Md. – The Juniata College women's swimming team turned in another productive day Friday at the 2026 Landmark Conference Championships at Loyola University Maryland, with finals appearances in three events and a strong relay finish to close the night.
500 Freestyle
Juniata placed two swimmers in the B final. Eleanor Smith led the way with a ninth-place B-final finish (5:19.88), while Delany Wetzel followed in 11th (5:24.72). Abby Ortiz (5:34.08) also competed in prelims.
200 IM
In the women's 200 IM, Coltan Swarts placed 14th in the B final with a time of 2:22.50, and Maegan Jordan finished 16th (2:25.14).
50 Freestyle
Megan Mikell advanced to the B final and tied for 10th overall with a 25.43. In prelims, Dani Cline posted a 25.86, while Lakelynn Godfrey (26.34) and Norah McClain (26.29) also raced.
400 Medley Relay – 4th Place (4:09.64)
Juniata's relay team of Coltan Swarts, Megan Mikell, Eleanor Smith, and Lakelynn Godfrey finished fourth in 4:09.64 to close the night and add more valuable team points.
Team Standings
Through 15 events, Juniata is fifth in the women's standings with 117.5 points.
