HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Sophomore Tori Gray (York, Pa./Central York) was named Landmark Conference player of the week for women's tennis, the organization announced this afternoon. The Juniata College women's tennis team opened its season at the Oberlin Invite this past weekend.
"Tori was more consistent this weekend than she has been in the past," said head coach Jason Cohen. "She was very good all weekend and played at the same level in all of her matches and that helped her out a lot."
Gray was a perfect 3-0 in singles play on the weekend and only dropped nine games overall. Gray finished 2-1 in doubles action with her partner sophomore Mitsuki Koh (Cupertino, Calif./Monta Vista).
