WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Juniata women's tennis team lost 7-2 this afternoon against Penn College.
Kady Lohr (Shanksville, Pa.) and Marilyn Ogof (Lake Ariel, Pa.) won 8-5 in first doubles, but Mia Kazakavage (Lewisburg, Pa.) and Courtney Eller (Colver, Pa. / Central Cambria) lost 8-3 in second doubles and Olivia Day(Duncansville, Pa.) and Selam Tadesse (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) fell 8-0 in third doubles.
Lohr won 6-0, 7-5 in first singles, but was the only Eagle to secure a win. Ogof lost 6-4, 6-4, 7-10 in second singles, Kazakavage lost 6-4, 7-6, 7-5 in third singles, Eller lost 6-3, 6-0 in fourth singles, Day lost 6-0, 6-0 in fifth singles, and Tadesse fell 6-1, 6-0 in sixth singles.
The Juniata women's tennis team hosts Mt. Aloysius on Friday, October 1 at 4:00 pm.
