HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's tennis team picked up another conference win over visiting Elizabethtown College, 6-1, on Friday afternoon at the Raffensperger Tennis Courts.
Medina Yessenaliyeva and Celia Navarro de Torres were victorious at first doubles, 6-1; Nina Meadows and Katie Wagoner got the win at second doubles, 6-1. Emma Steinhoff and Laura Rojas won at third doubles.
Yessenaliyeva won 6-0, 6-4 at first singles, Navarro de Torres got the win at second singles 6-1, 6-0, while Meadows cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at third singles. Wagoner dropped a competitive match at fourth singles 6-2, 3-6, 7-10. Skylar Grabarski won at fifth singles 6-3, 6-1, while Steinhoff won at sixth singles.
Juniata returns to action Tuesday at Lycoming at 3:00.
