Eagles Take Care of the River Hawks at Home
Huntingdon, PA - The Juniata women's tennis team took a 6-1 victory over conference foe Susquehanna on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles now move to 4-2 in conference.
To kick off doubles play, the duo of Medina Yessenaliyeva and Celia Navarro de Torres defeated Susquehanna's number one duo (6-0).
Nina Meadows and Katie Wagoner won the second doubles match (6-4), while the third doubles group of Skylar Grabarski and Emma Steinoff took a (7-5) victory.
In singles play, Juniata took wins in matches one through five, highlighted by Yessenaliyeva's (6-1,6-3) victory in match one and Navarro De Torres's (6-0,6-1) victory in match two.
The Eagles will travel to Wilkes this weekend to continue Landmark play.
