2013-14 Season-In-Review: Women’s Indoor Track & Field
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women’s track & field team record book is scattered with the performances from the 2013-14 indoor season. The Eagles set a total of six new program records, including one Landmark Conference record.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women's track & field team record book is scattered with the performances from the 2013-14 indoor season. The Eagles set a total of six new program records, including one Landmark Conference record.
Seniors Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) and Paula Pryor (Westbrookville, N.Y./Burke Catholic) each set three new school records on the season. Pryor's record-setting performances came during the 200, 300, and 400 meter dashes. Woods set records in the mile, 3000, and 5000 meter runs. Her time of 10:19.78 in the 3000 meter run at the Susquehanna Open also set a new conference record.
Seven other athletes found themselves among Juniata's top five all-time performers in their respective events. Sophomore Shalen Perehenic (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) ranks fourth in the 300 meter dash. In the 500 meter run, sophomore Jecenia Duran (Temple, Pa./Olley Valley) is slotted third. In the 4x200 meter relay, the team of junior Caitlyn Pingatore (Windber, Pa./Windber), junior Evelyn Edwards (Carbondale, Pa./Carbondale), Perehinec, and Pryor is ranked fourth. In the field, freshman Katelyn Fisher (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Athena) placed herself fourth in the high jump, while sophomore Alissa Sellers (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) ranks second in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump. In the weight throw, junior Chelsey Beaver (Shamokin Dam, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) sits second overall.
A total of seven student-athletes from the women's team were named to the All-Landmark team. The First Team included Woods and Fisher. Second team honorees were Pryor, Duran, junior Emily Wolf (York, Pa./Central York), sophomore Erin Gaines (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport High School), and junior Alyssa Cousins (Lemont, Pa./State College Area).
