Sprint and Distance Highlights Pace Juniata Women at Youngstown State
Youngstown, Ohio – The Juniata women's track and field team recorded several strong efforts on the track Friday afternoon at Youngstown State University, highlighted by consistent sprint and distance performances.
Sophomore Gracie French led the Eagles in the sprints, finishing 29th in the 60-meter prelims with a time of 8.16 before adding a 26.54 in the 200 meters. In the middle-distance events, junior Camille McRoberts posted a time of 2:29.83 in the 800 meters.
Freshman Ella McCrum turned in a strong double on the distance side, placing 13th in the mile with a time of 5:25.45 and following with a 12th-place finish in the 3000 meters in 10:43.19.
Juniata will continue its indoor season next week ath the Susuqehanna Friday Night Showdown.
