French, McCrum Set School Records at Landmark Conference Championships
Selinsgrove, Pa. – Juniata competed at the Landmark Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Gracie French set school records in both the 60m and 200m. She ran a school-record 7.94 to place fifth in the 60m finals after qualifying with a 7.95 in prelims. She also placed fifth in the 200m with a school-record 26.53, earning four points in each event.
Ella McCrum set a school record in the 5000m, placing third in 17:59.54 and earning six points.
In the 800m, Camille McRoberts placed fourth in 2:27.27, a season best that earned five points. Chloe Reilley ran 2:43.16. In the 3000m, Olivia Brenneman recorded a personal-best 11:17.51.
In the 60m prelims, Zoey Zavorotny ran 8.32 and Bri Spencer posted 8.40. In the 60m hurdles prelims, Josie Kelly ran a personal-best 10.50, while Beck Mensch recorded a personal-best 10.76.
In field events, Josie Kelly placed fourth in the pole vault, clearing 2.75m to score five points. Rae Waight cleared a personal-best 2.60m to place eighth and earn one point. In the high jump, Haley Mummah cleared 1.42m and Kelly cleared a season-best 1.37m. In the long jump, Spencer posted 4.42m and Haley Mummah jumped 4.31m.
In the throws, Chloe Sauer recorded a mark of 10.35m in the shot put and 12.43m in the weight throw.
Juniata's 4000m distance medley relay team of Gabriella Gioiosa, Beck Mensch, Chloe Reilley, and Olivia Brenneman finished in 14:03.08 to earn two points. The 4x200m relay of Zoey Zavorotny, Rebecca Mensch, Paige Clemmer, and Josie Kelly ran 2:01.19 to score three points. The 4x400m relay team of Bri Spencer, Gracie French, Haley Mummah, and Camille McRoberts posted a season-best 4:20.48, earning three points.
