Juniata Dominates Field to Capture Team Title with 209 Points
Huntingdon, Pa. – The Juniata women's track and field team delivered a dominant performance, capturing the team title with 209 points at the Juniata Tune-Up.
Juniata set the tone early in the distance events as Olivia Brenneman won the 5000 meters in 19:45.34. The Eagles continued their success in the 1500 meters, where Ella McCrum took first in 4:53.98, followed by Camille McRoberts in second (5:09.75) and Gracie Gioiosa in fifth (5:21.36).
In the middle-distance events, Camille McRoberts claimed another victory in the 800 meters with a time of 2:26.96, while Natalie Osborne added a third-place finish in 2:31.05. In the 400 meters, Emma Arnold placed second in 1:17.05.
Juniata dominated the sprints, sweeping the top three spots in the 100 meters as Bri Spencer won in 13.47, Zoey Zavorotny finished second in 13.68, and Emily McCann took third in 14.36. Beck Mensch added a fifth-place finish (14.57), and Keliyah Washington placed sixth (14.80). In the 200 meters, Gracie French earned a first-place finish in 26.85, while McCann added a third-place finish in 29.07.
The relay teams also shined, with the 4x100 squad of Zavorotny, French, McCann, and Spencer taking first in 51.31. The 4x400 team of Spencer, French, Osborne, and McRoberts also secured a win in 4:18.40.
In the field events, Juniata continued its dominance. Haley Mummah placed second in the high jump with a mark of 1.42 meters, while Devyn Mauger finished third at 1.27 meters. In the pole vault, Rae Waight won the event at 2.15 meters, and Zavorotny placed second at 2.00 meters. Bri Spencer added a third-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 4.63 meters.
In the throws, Chloe Sauer won the shot put with a mark of 10.54 meters, followed by Emma Coolidge in second at 9.80 meters. Coolidge also captured first in the javelin with a throw of 32.92 meters.
Juniata will host the 2026 Landmark Championships next weekend.
