Rushing Named Landmark Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's volleyball standout Isabella Rushing was named Landmark Conference Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week after anchoring the Eagles defense as they went 3-0 on weekend at the ASICS Invitational.

The sophomore libero from Northfield, Minnesota tallied 47 digs on the weekend. She was named to the all-tournament team after she helped the Eagles to wins over #15 Marietta and #18 Ithaca along with Muhlenberg. 

The women's volleyball team returns to action at the Wittenberg Invitational this weekend where they will take on Wittenberg University, Transylvania(receiving votes in the AVCA national poll) and Ohio Northern.
