Rushing Snags Third Landmark Women's Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - Juniata women's volleyball standout Isabella Rushing was named Landmark Conference Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week for the third time this season after her recording breaking week that saw the Eagles go 3-0 in three Landmark Conference matches. 

The sophomore libero from Northfield, Minnesota tallied 49 digs, 15 aces, and 13 assists on the week. Rushing was dominant from the service line against Elizabethtown as she served 11 aces, a school and Landmark Conference record. The Eagles were victorious over Lycoming, Elizabethtown and Susquehanna. 

The women's volleyball team returns to action Friday at home as they take on Moravian University. The Eagles will honor their seniors prior to the start of the match.
