Hayes, Mishinkash Named to All-ECAC Second Team
DANBURY, Conn.- The Juniata women's volleyball dynamic middle-hitter duo of Molly Mishinkash and Maggie Hayes were both named to the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) second team.
Mishinkash adds to a robust list of accolades this fall, which includes being named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America Second Team, the All-Region First Team, and the Landmark All-Conference First Team. She hit .415 on the season with 300 kills, 86 blocks, 34 digs, and 14 aces. She reached double-digit kills in 17 matches this season and hit over .500 in 17 matches this season as well.
Hayes put together a strong junior campaign, earning AVCA All-Region honorable mention and making the all-conference first team. She finished the year second in the Landmark in hitting percentage (.357) and fourth in kills (258).
ABOUT THE ECAC
The ECAC is an eighty-six year old intercollegiate athletics organization with roughly 200 member schools for traditional sports across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III - that exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in NCAA sports, and provide great value for universities, by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the country.
