Huntingdon, Pa. – Juniata fell to Catholic, 4-1 at Langdon-Goodale Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Jace Irvin recorded a double and drove in Juniata's only run. Zach Johnston scored the run and added a hit, a walk, and a stolen base.
Ethan Pfeffer led the offense with two hits, while Ricky Scott and Matthew Koehler each added a hit. Scott also doubled and stole a base.
Juniata finished with six hits and two walks.
On the mound, Connor Blough started and allowed two runs on four hits over five innings with four strikeouts. Hunter Thomas pitched two innings, allowing one run on two hits. Tim Coleman allowed one run over one inning, and Robbie Pliszka tossed a scoreless inning.
The Eagles will head to Lycoming for a three-game series this weekend.
