KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Juniata College men’s basketball team is one of a record-setting number of colleges and universities to receive the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College men’s basketball team has announced the dates for its annual day camp. The comprehensive instructional camp for all skill levels, open to boys and girls entering K-9 grade, will take pace July 28 through August 1. TOWSON, Md. – Senior Brian Scholly (State College, Pa./State College) of the Juniata College men’s basketball team has been named the Landmark Conference Senior Scholar Athlete for the 2013-14 men’s basketball season. He is just the tenth Juniata student-athlete to receive the senior scholar athlete award and the second men’s basketball player.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – At the conclusion of the winter season, Juniata College has moved to fifth in the Landmark Conference President’s Cup Standings. The Eagles had three programs finish top four in their respective sports during winter.
TOWSON, Md. – In the fall of 2013, the Landmark Conference announced the formation of the leagues’ All-Sportsmanship Team. Created by the conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the teams include one student-athlete from each institution for each sport selected by the players and coaches from their respective teams. The teams were established as a way to recognize those who are making an impact through their fair play.
TOWSON, Md. – At the end of each season the Landmark Conference announces the Academic Honor Roll recognizing student-athletes that have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher. For Juniata College, 29 student-athletes from the men’s and women’s track and field team, the men’s and women’s basketball teams, and the women’s swimming team were recognized as honor roll members.
BETHANY, W. Va. – All night long the net swished as the No. 4 seed Juniata College men’s basketball team nailed three after three to take down No. 2 seed Hood College, 82-67, and claim the 2014 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Southwest Tournament championship. Senior Brian Scholly (State College, Pa./State College) led the Eagles with 24 points, going 6-for-12 from behind the arc, and was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his performances throughout the tournament.
