MADISON, N.J.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team lost on the road at Drew University, 14-3, Saturday afternoon at Ranger Stadium.
Zane Kromer scored twice for the Eagles while Liam Walsh struck once. Sterling Bechler had two assists, while Griffin Umstead made 22 saves.
Drew scored five minutes in, and the Eagles responded two minutes later as Bechler fed Kromer for a kill. Drew got one more as JC trailed by one at the end of the first quarter.
The Bechler-to-Kromer connection was successful again for the Eagles, but the Rangers scored three of their own, leaving JC trailing 5-2 at the half.
The Rangers controlled the second half, outscoring Juniata 9-1.
The Eagles will conclude their season at home as they host Catholic on Wednesday at 6:00.
