Allentown, Pa. – Juniata dropped a 22-2 decision to Muhlenberg on Saturday afternoon at Jeff Morris Field.
Skyler Stevens accounted for both goals for the Eagles, finding the back of the net once in the first quarter and again early in the second. She finished with a team-high seven shots and four on goal.
Juniata opened the scoring late in the first when Stevens converted off an assist from Ella McGlaughlin, cutting into an early deficit. Stevens added her second goal early in the second quarter, this time assisted by Kambria Hoyt, but Muhlenberg responded with a strong run to take control.
McGlaughlin and Hoyt each recorded an assist, while Elayna Stubbe led the team with five shots and two on goal. Devyn Mauger added two shots and controlled two draws.
Defensively, Mikayla Bodley, Caoilinn Heatley, and Francesca Ditsky split time in goal, combining for six saves.
Muhlenberg used a fast start and consistent scoring across all four quarters, including a 13-goal first half, to pull away.
Juniata returns to action at home on Wednesday against Susquehanna.
