Huntingdon, Pa. – The Juniata women's tennis team has clinched the No. 6 seed and will take on Scranton in the first round of the 2025 Landmark Conference Playoffs.
The Eagles enter postseason play riding a three-match winning streak, fueled by dominant singles performances. Sophomores Medina Yessenaliyeva (11-1) and Charley Madlock (10-2) have led the charge, supported by strong doubles play from first-year Nina Meadows. Juniata carries an impressive 47-25 record in singles and a 21-15 mark in doubles into the postseason.
Yessenaliyeva has been a standout all season, winning over 90 percent of her singles matches while adding a 7-5 record in doubles. Madlock's consistency, highlighted by her 10-2 singles record, has been equally vital to the Eagles' success and will be key to a deep playoff run.
