Women's Lacrosse Selected Eighth in Landmark Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata women's lacrosse team was selected eighth in this year's Landmark Conference preseason poll.
Juniata returns a number of upperclassmen which include four seniors, three juniors, and five sophomores. Juniata also brings in nine to the freshman class. The senior class includes, Allison Kincaid (Hillsborough, N.J. / Hillsborough), Cat Lanigan (Parsippany, N.J. / Parsippany), Kerry McClaughry (Somerville, N.J. / Somerville), and Mina Wilt (Wells Tannery, Pa. / Forbes Road) while the junior class consists of Arielle Danchenko (Palm City, Fla. / South Fork), Sara Deetz (Gloucester City, N.J. / Gloucester City), and goalie Isabella Medaris (Monroe, Conn. / Masuk H.S.).
The Eagles return the leading scorer, sophomore, Talia Bertrando (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick). She led the team with 49 goals and seven assists. Danchenko was second on the team last season with 33 points (21g, 12a).
JC will start off their season, Wednesday February 26th as they host Chatham at 7 PM.
