BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata women's lacrosse team lost on the road at Moravian University, 20-5, Saturday afternoon.
Elayna Stubbe scored three goals to go with a caused turnover, a ground ball, and two draw controls. Devyn Mauger had a goal, an assist, a ground ball and four draw controls. Emilly Kemmer had an assist, two ground balls, a draw control, and two caused turnovers, while Madi Van Zant added an assist and a ground ball. Caoilinn Heatley made a save in goal while Francesca Ditsky came in and made five for the Eagles.
The Greyhounds scored the opening five goals before Mauger set up Stubbe to get Juniata on the board in the first quarter.
Moravian rattled off the next eight before Stubbe scored an unassisted goal in the final three and a half minutes of the first half to make it 13-2.
Kemmer found Mauger for another Eagle goal early in the fourth. The Greyhounds added two more before Van Zant found Stubbe in the final seconds for the final goal of the contest.
Juniata returns to action on the road at the University of Scranton, Wednesday at 4:00.
