Huntingdon, Pa. - On May 17, 2014, 75 Juniata College student-athletes received degrees at the 136th Annual commencement ceremony.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – With each of their respective athletic careers at Juniata College officially over, the Eagle senior student-athletes had their sights on one more milestone, graduation. There were 75 student-athletes who participated in the 136th Annual Commencement on Saturday, May 17 to receive their degrees.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – It was a night of reflection for the Juniata College athletics department as student-athletes recounted their seasons and the Big Five awards were announced at the annual Athletic Awards Night Sunday evening.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – For just the second time in program history, the Juniata College women’s soccer team has received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Ethics & Sportsmanship Award, the organization announced this afternoon. The award is presented in the Gold, Silver or Bronze versions, which recognize teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game, as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards they are shown by referees throughout the season.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Juniata College women’s soccer senior Paula Pryor (Westbrookville, N.Y./Burke Catholic) earned Honorable Mention honors for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) College Division Women’s Scholar All-East Region award, the organization announced. Pryor is carrying a 3.66 GPA with a P.O.E. in Geology.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women’s soccer record book is littered with accomplishments from the 2013 season. The Eagles set a new program record for wins in a season (14), goals in a season (55), and tied the best marks for longest unbeaten streak (7) and fewest losses (6).
TOWSON, Md. – At the end of each season the Landmark Conference announces the Academic Honor Roll recognizing student-athletes that have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher. This year, Juniata has placed 40 student-athletes on the fall honor roll, up from 37 on year ago.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – After one of its most successful fall seasons in school history, Juniata College athletics leads the Landmark Conference President’s Cup standings with 40.5 points. The total is eight points higher than where the Eagles were after last fall and one point ahead of Susquehanna University.

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference announced the 2013 Women’s Soccer All-Conference selections today and three member of the Juniata College women’s soccer team were selected to the Second-Team. Senior Paula Proyr (Westbrookville, N.Y./Burke Catholic) is receiving her second all-conference honor; senior Alicia Snyder (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) becomes just the second women’s soccer player to be awarded all-conference distinction all four years of her career, and junior Lillian Dudek (Downington, Pa./Upattinas School) is receiving her first all-conference accolade.
GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Juniata College women’s soccer team had its record-setting season come to an end in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Division III Women’s Soccer Championship quarterfinals, 6-0, at the hands of Grove City College. The Eagles finished out the year an overall 14-6 setting a new program record for wins in a season, conference wins in a season (4), and total goals scored (55).
